FAQs

Where are you located?

My clinical psychology office is located in the center of Guilford, where Church Street approaches northbound I-95. My office is on the first floor. There is a private waiting room and a separate entrance and exit to and from the office, which insures confidentiality.

Do you take insurance?

I am not an in-network provider on any managed care panels, but I do accept HSA/FSA cards and out-of-network benefits.   Many of my clients use their out-of-network benefits from their health insurance providers (Aetna, BCBS, United Healthcare, Medicare, etc.) to reimburse for some or all of my services. Others elect to “self-pay”, and pay directly for their services each week. I can offer you guidance in how to  find out about and fully utilize the benefits that are available to you, including preparing insurance-friendly bills to submit for reimbursement.  One common misunderstanding when starting therapy is that you can or should only seek services from someone in your network. While financial factors must be a priority, so must be the fit with your therapist, and your sense of comfort and trust in their competence and skill set to help you meet your goals and start feeling better.
